邱国平,深圳大学电子与信息工程学院****、博士生导师、深圳大学智能机器人研究中心主任、珠江领军人才、浙江省和四川省特聘专家。曾在英国多所研究型大学任教二十多年,英国诺丁汉大学计算机科学学院视觉信息处理终身讲座教授。研究兴趣包括计算机视觉、人工智能、机器学习和多媒体信号处理等相关学科领域。在相关国际核心学术期刊和国际学术会议发表论文二百五十多篇、获多项美国和欧洲专利、在国际知名模式识别和图像处理学术大会上获最佳论文奖。基于邱教授团队研究成果创立的高科技公司已成为国际高动态图像及相关摄影技术产品的领导者,在全球二百多个国家拥有上亿用户。主持和参与政府和商业科研项目经费折合超过二千****民币。担任国际图像处理和模式识别领域重要国际学术期刊副编辑,国际视觉信息处理和多媒体学术会议主席及技术委员会主席。担任欧盟、英国、荷兰、以色列、新加坡和香港政府科研基金评委,以及多家跨国公司的技术顾问,曾任英国诺丁汉大学国际博士创新研究中心主任、中国校区计算机科学学院院长、理工学院院长等行政职务。
