董金堂,南方科技大学医学院讲席教授,博士生导师。1984年获南开大学生物学学士,1989获中国协和医科大学、中国医学科学院理学博士。美国国立卫生研究院和约翰霍普金斯大学医学院博士后。美国弗吉尼亚大学医学院助理教授、副教授。美国埃默里大学医学院副教授、教授。承担过多项中国和美国的科研项目。在包括Science和Nature系列杂志在内的国际学术刊物上发表论文120多篇。获得过多项国内和国际奖励。担任中国和美国政府不同部门的各种科研和人才项目的评审。是多家国际学术刊物的副主编或编委。带领团队从事肿瘤发生发展的分子基础研究20多年,已经培养博士和博士后30余名。
个人简介董金堂教授于1989年获得协和医科大学(北京协和医学院)中国医学科学院理学博士学位。1990年至1996年在美国国立卫生研究院和约翰霍普金斯大学医学院从事博士后工作。1996年至2002年在美国尼亚大学医学院病理系, 生物化学和分子遗传学系担任助理教授、副教授。2002年起先后担任美国埃默里大学医学院肿瘤学和血液学系以及泌尿学系副教授、正教授,并曾担任科研副主任及Winship肿瘤中心癌症遗传学和表观遗传学项目共同主任。曾获得佐治亚癌症联盟杰出医生和科学家奖,美国国立卫生研究院院长奖,国家自然科学基金委****基金。
董金堂教授于2018年8月入职南方科技大学医学院,任讲席教授,为深圳市国家级领军人才。

个人简介

研究领域肿瘤发生发展的分子基础及其转化应用研究:董金堂教授课题组利用遗传学、生物化学、细胞生物学、分子生物学、组织病理学等各种研究手段和各种肿瘤模型,了解前列腺癌发生和演进的生物学机制,并探索机制方面的发现在肿瘤检测和治疗方面的应用。
