Gowri Manohari, Female, born in 1987 from Tamil Nadu, India. She received a Bachelor (2007) and Master degree (2009) in School of Physics from Alagappa University, India. She achieved an outstanding graduate student award of Gold and Silver Medalist in University level. Then, she received a Ph.D degree (2014) in Materials Science at School of Physics, Annamalai University, India. The main research direction is to improve the properties of absorber layer for thin film solar cells and has published 5 SCI papers as a First Author as well as Corresponding Author. In 2015, she joined as a Postdoctoral researcher in Southeast University, Nanjing and the research direction is up-conversion perovskite materials for lasing and bio-imaging applications which have been published in Applied Physics Letters, Journal of Materials Chemistry C and other journals as well as received some scientific research projects from province, university level. She has published more than 25 research articles in the reputed journals during the postdoctoral period.

She is an independent reviewer of some academic journals such as Thin Solid Films, Materials Letters, Heliyon, Materials Science and Semiconductor Processing and Indian Journal of Pure and Applied Physics.

From July 2019 to till date, she has joined the Institute of New Energy Technology, School of Information Science and Technology, Jinan University to do Postdoctoral research.
