研究兴趣本人目前主要利用加权射影直线的凝聚层范畴及其导出范畴的结构，研究它们的倾斜理论以及Hall代数结构，并建立它们与其它数学分支的联系。具体包括：
通过Hall代数与李理论（Kac-Moody李代数，量子群，DAHA）建立联系；
研究导出范畴上稳定条件空间的流形结构及其在Hall代数中的应用；
通过倾斜理论与Kleinian及Fuchsian奇异理论建立联系；
研究加权射影直线与光滑黎曼曲面的关系；
学习canonical bases理论，cluster理论，preprojective代数理论等.
