主要研究领域为听觉系统的检测、康复和认知工程的研究。通过现代信号处理的方法,检测提取听觉系统从听觉外周、听神经到听觉中枢的信号;研究对听觉系统的强度听敏度和频率分辨灵敏度进行客观、综合检测的平台;对疑难听觉病症进行精准定位。研发对重度聋和全聋患者唯一能起康复作用的电子耳蜗的调试平台、言语编码策略和前端语音增强算法以提高电子耳蜗佩戴者的言语识别率。通过听觉认知的研究提出:人的听觉脑干的部分神经活动能够反映相同听力群体中不同个体之间音调感知的差异,并对电子耳蜗言语编码策略的有效性进行客观评估的研究。
学术荣誉与奖励1. 由宫琴负责主持完成的 “Instrument for Assessing Frequency Selectivity of Auditory System”在第45届日内瓦国际发明展上获得 银奖。
2. 由宫琴负责主持完成的:“听觉系统综合检测平台”在第二十二届全国发明展览暨第二届世界发明创新展获得 金奖。
3. 由宫琴主持完成的“基于麦克风阵列的电子耳蜗调试平台” 在第二十二届全国发明展览暨第二届世界发明创新展获得 银奖。
4. 由宫琴主持完成的“基于麦克风阵列的电子耳蜗调试平台”在第11届北京发明创新大赛获得 金奖。
5. 由宫琴指导的陈又圣同学的“基于传声器阵列的电子耳蜗前端语音增强关键技术的研究”,获得优秀博士学位论文。
