讲座：Challenges & Opportunities Related to Waste Fishing Nets: A New Concept for Circular Ocean Innovation Laboratory

内容简介：
The lecture will outline the issues associated with marine plastic pollution and will specifically focus on waste fishing nets. Examples of products made from waste fishing nets will be highlighted. Practical guidance will be given on issues that need to be considered in developing products from waste fishing nets. Finally a new concept foraCircular Ocean Innovation Laboratory(COINlab)will be presented.
主讲人简介：
Martin Charter（马丁·郑德）教授是英国创意艺术大学（UCA）可持续设计中心的创始人及现任总监，是产品可持续和企业可持续创新领域的专家，生态设计管理系统标准（ISO 14006）全球总主持人，同时是世界资源论坛专家委员会委员之一，也担任欧盟生态创新实验计划和欧盟2025年未来产业远景和绿色科技2035年等欧洲委员会顾问，在电子业和低碳绿色科技和产品及绿色供应链和创新领域有超过25年经验，获得过多项可持续领域的大奖。2018年受中国外国专家局“高端外国专家”项目聘请，到中国人民大学环境学院开展讲座。
