从事组合与编码方向的研究十余年，近期特别关注组合设计理论及其在计算机科学之软硬件交互测试、密码学之秘钥分享方案、统计试验科学等相关领域中的应用。曾应邀学术访问美国、意大利、香港等国家和地区。发表学术论文33篇，其中22篇被SCI检索，发表刊物包括组合学核心期刊JCTA与组合学应用的重要期刊SIAM DM。
