课题组致力于金属有机化学与催化的基础性、前瞻性理论研究。使用现代计算量子化学方法和分子动力学理论,了解催化反应机理和动力学过程,发展惰性化学键活化与转化方式,设计新型非贵金属催化剂。目前的主要研究内容为:

Xinzheng Yang studied Condensed Matter Physics (B.S. 1999) and Molecular Spectroscopy (Ph.D. 2004) at Nankai University in China. From 2004 to 2010, he performed postdoctoral research at the University of Texas Austin and Texas A&M University. After three years independent research as an assistant project scientist at UC Berkeley, he was appointed a Professor of Chemistry at Institute of Chemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2013.The research in his group lies in the field of computational organometallic chemistry and theoretical catalysis with an emphasis in computational design of non-noble metal catalysts.His scientific work has been published in more than 90 original research papers with over 1900 citations (H-index = 25).
