  胡文平,中国科学院化学研究所研究员,博士生导师。1993年毕业于湖南大学化学化工系,1996年在中国科学院金属研究所获得硕士学位。1999年在中国科学院化学研究所获得博士学位。同年,在日本学术振兴会(JSPS)的资助下,赴日本大阪大学太阳能化学研究中心工作;2001年,在德国洪堡基金的资助下赴德国斯图加特大学第一物理研究所工作。2003年4月加入日本电话电讯株式会社(NTT),同年9月底入选中国科学院"百人计划",归国。

 
 
主要从事有机高分子光电功能材料的研究,在新型有机高分子光电功能材料的设计合成、凝聚态结构与性能的关系,光电器件的应用等方面开展了系统研究。在Chem. Rev. (2篇),Chem. Soc. Rev.(2篇),Acc. Chem. Res.(1篇),Adv. Mater.(38篇),J. Am. Chem. Soc.(15篇),Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (1篇),PNAS (1篇),Phys. Rev. Lett.(1篇)等发表了系列论文。
 
编有中文专著《有机场效应晶体管》一部(科学出版社,2011),英文专著《Organic Optoelectronics》一部(Wiley出版社,2012),合著《分子材料与薄膜器件》一部(化学工业出版社,2011)。
 
任Polymer Chemistry(RSC)副主编,Advanced Energy Materials, Organic Photonics and Photovoltaics, Advances in Energy Research: An International Journal,化学学报编委。
 
2007年获"国家杰出青年科学基金"资助,2008年"百人计划"结题获评优秀(top 20%),先后被评为中国科学院优秀导师(2007, 2011)、中国科学院优秀研究生指导教师(2008,2012)和全国优秀博士学位论文指导教师(2009)。2010年获中国化学会-英国皇家化学会青年化学奖,2012年获中国科学院朱李月华优秀教师奖,中国化学会-赢创化学创新奖和2013年中国石油和化学工业联合会科技进步奖等奖励。
 
培养博士研究生20名,其中1名获全国优秀博士学位论文和北京市优秀博士学位论文、2名获中国科学院优秀博士学位论文,2名获中国科学院院长特别奖。
