研究领域采用化学生物学的原理与方法，发现调控干扰素激活的JAK/STAT信号通路，雌激素的生物合成和代谢，RNAi信号通路和蛋白质泛素降解信号通路的天然产物化学小分子，研究其构效关系，以活性小分子为探针研究其作用机制，以期发现新的信号调控机制以及具有诊疗作用的药物前体；　　探索新型蛋白质标记体系，实时动态的研究细胞膜受体在天然配体和化学小分子作用下的变化，以发现细胞膜受体的新的作用机制；
　　以骨质疏松为模型，研究中药治疗骨质疏松的物质基础和作用机制。
