宋友桂,男,博士,中国科学院地球环境研究所研究员,中国科学院大学博士生导师。
先后在华东地质学院、南京大学和兰州大学获学士、硕士和博士学位,中国科学院地球环境研究所博士后出站留所,历任助理研究员,副研究员和研究员,曾任黄土与第四纪地质国家重点实验室副主任,入选陕西省中青年科技创新领军人才。从事新生代地质与环境变化研究,目前主要从事中亚干旱区黄土与环境变化方向的研究工作,系统开展了我国新疆的黄土的野外调查和钻探工作,查明了新疆黄土时空分布特征,联合中亚科学家初步调查了塔吉克、吉尔吉斯、乌兹别克和哈萨克中亚四国的黄土分布特征,开展了中亚黄土年代学和古气候代用指标意义的研究,对中亚黄土粉尘的来源提出了新认识,初步探讨了中亚气候环境变化的机制。在中国科学, 第四纪研究、地理学报、ESR、QSR、QG等国内外刊物上发表论文180余篇,其中SCI收录论文70多篇,第一/通讯作者SCI论文30余篇, web of Science 他引2000余次,H指数28。(曾)主持国家自然科学基金项目、中国博士后科学基金、中科院西部之光、科技创新交叉团队、国际合作重点项目、院先导专项子课题和俄乌白特别交流计划等项目,作为骨干参与了黄土与第四纪地质国家重点实验室管理和国家重大项目(973、重点研发和基金重大)和重大国际合作项目的立项与管理工作。曾获中国科学院王宽诚西部突出贡献奖和陕西省科学技术奖一等奖,培养研究生9名,已毕业5名,3人获研究生国家奖学金。
