研究领域探讨全球变化和退化生态系统植被恢复过程中植物水分关系对环境变化的应答和调控机制。 重点研究(1)植物水分吸收, 运输和利用的分子机理以及细胞膜水通道蛋白(aquaporins; AQPs)的调控作用; (2)不同演替/恢复阶段森林植物水分关系及其对全球变化的反馈作用;(3)基于植物水分关系的特点, 探讨森林植物群落演替的内在机制, 为退化生态系统的恢复和重建提供理论依据。
