邓军博士,男,1958年出生,中国地质大学(北京)教授,博士生导师,矿床学和构造地质学专业。俄罗斯工程院院士,享受国务院政府特殊津贴。任地质过程与矿产资源国家重点实验室副主任、北京大学地学中心副主任、中国地质学会矿床地质专业委员会副主任、国家重点基础研究发展计划项目(973项目)首席科学家、国际矿床成因协会中国国家委员会副主席及中国国际地学计划(IGCP)委员、《现代地质》主编。
主持和参加国家及省部级科研项目40余项。长期从事区域成矿学、成矿系统、构造体系及动力学等方面研究,系统研究了大型构造与超大型矿床的时空协调关系,提出了构造动力体系转换/叠接与界面成矿新认识,探索了古陆边缘成矿系统的形成与保存,在金属矿床的成矿潜力评价及隐伏矿体寻找中取得系列突破,取得了良好的经济和社会效益。
1998年被评为北京市高等学校学科带头人,入选国土资源部跨世纪人才;1999年入选国家“百千万人才工程”;2001年被评为北京市经济技术创新标兵;2002年被评为全国高等学校优秀骨干教师;2003年入选教育部跨世纪人才;2004年获黄汲清青年地质科学技术奖;获国家和省部级科技进步奖多项,发表SCI检索论文100余篇,合著专著多部。
