1987年毕业于内蒙古师范大学物理系，并获理学学士学位；
1990年获国家地震局兰州地震研究所，固体地球物理学硕士学位；
1999年获中国地震局地球物理研究所固体地球物理学博士学位
工作经历
1990年-1994年在国家地震局兰州地震研究所工作；
1999年7月至今 在中国地震局地球物理研究所工作；
2000年7月至2002年1月期间，在香港理工大学土木工程系进行访问，执行香港理工大学和中国地震局地球物理研究所得合作研究计划。2002年破格获得中国地震局地球物理研究所研究员资格
