郭军，男，生于1959年10月，教授，博士生导师，北京邮电大学信息与通信工程学院院长，北邮模式识别实验室主任。分别于1982年，1985年获北京邮电大学计算机与通信专业学士与硕士学位，1993年获日本东北学院大学博士学位，研究方向为跨媒体信息检索，手机短信过滤，网络舆情分析，网络管理与控制等。主持多项863项目和国家自然科学基金项目；发表包括Science，TPAMI等国际著名期刊论文上百篇，获省部级奖励多项，获授权专利5项。 研究方向：信息检索、智能信息处理。Email： guojun@bupt.edu.cn
GUO Jun, Male, Born in 1959, Professor, PHD supervisor, Dean of School of Information and Communication Engineering, BUPT, Director of Pattern Recognition and Intelligent System lab, He received his bachelor and Master degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 1982 and 1985 respectively, and in 1993 he received his PHD degree from Tohoku Gakuin University, Japan. His research interests are Cross-media information retrieval, short message filtering, web public sentiment information analysis, network management and control. He is the responsible person for many projects funded by national 863 high-tech and national natural science foundation of China, He published more than 100 papers on international journal and conference including SCIENCE, IEEE TPAMI, and won many provincial honors, received 5 authorized patents.

Zhang Honggang, Male, born in 1974, associate professor, master degree supervised, director of web search center, he received bachelor degree from Shandong University in 1996, and received his master and doctor degree from BUPT in 1999 and 2002 respectively, he was visiting scholar at Carnegie Mellon University in 2008. He participated 4 projects funded by national 863 high-tech and 2 projects funded by national natural science foundation of China, He is the author of more than 30 papers including Science and IEEE PAMI in pattern recognition and computer vision. His current research interests are in the area of pattern recognition, machine learning and computer vision.
刘刚，男，1973.12出生，副教授，博士，硕士生导师，隶属模式识别实验室。2003年获北京邮电大学信号与信息处理专业工学博士学位，毕业后留校任教。近年来一直从事模式识别(文字识别、语音识别)、语音信号处理、音频检索等方面的研究工作，主持和参与国家863、自然科学基金等科研项目及与企业合作研发项目多项，在国内外重要学术刊物及会议上发表学术论文40余篇。

Wei-Ran Xu, male, born in 1975,Associate Professor, MA student adviser, Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems Laboratory. He graduated from the School of Information Engineering, Dalian University of Technology in 2000 and received master degree in Signal and Information Processing; and received professional doctorate in Signal and Information Processing from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications 2003; and then joined the Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems Laboratory. The current main research areas: information retrieval, information extraction, pattern recognition and machine learning. He has participated in the TREC, TAC, ACE and other international well-known IR evaluation, and gotten good grades. And has participated in several national projects. He has issued more than 20 papers in the core journals and the major international conferences.

Zhang Bin, female, Date of birth: 1970-04-19, Associate Professor/Master’s tutor, pattern recognition laboratory, received B.E. and M.E. degrees from BIT in 1992 and 1995 respectively， received Ph.D. degree of Signal and Information Processing major from BUPT in 2004，and has taught in BUPT since 1995. Dr. Zhang Chuang, an associate professor, graduated from the School of Information Engineering, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and got the Engineering Doctorate in 2004.Now he is employed in the Department web search, Pattern Recognition & Intelligent Systems Laboratory, School of Information and Communication Engineering, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. The main research fields are: multi-media content filtering and information retrieval, computer vision and machine learning, interactive user-oriented process of search behavior modeling, feature fusion and target detection in natural scenes，Complex Network Model .As a major，who has completed several 863 projects, National Natural Science Foundation projects and also some enterprise coorperation projects. 董远，男，1970年生，北京邮电大学，信息与通信工程学院，副教授，博士生导师。分别在1990年，1996年于西安电子科技大学本科和硕士研究生毕业，1999年获上海交通大学通信与信息系统博士学位。1999年到2001年，任 Nokia Research & Development Center China, Research Scientist，是Nokia手机中文识别的主要开发人员。2001年到2003年，英国剑桥大学，工程系，博士后( Post-Doctoral Research Staff )，期间，是欧盟项目 Coretex的主要研究开发人员，Coretex的目的是提高语音识别的核心技术。2003年至今， 任北京邮电大学副教授。主要研究兴趣：音视频分类classification 与聚类clustering 。在相关重要会议与学术期刊发表论文50多篇，是多项国际、国内重要学术期刊、学术会议、基金项目的评阅人、评审专家等。主要研究方向：多媒体音视频检索（音视频中的事件分割与检测 event segmentation and detection,目标检测 objective detection，目标人检测speaker detection，亮点检测 highlight detection），说话人检索，语音识别与合成等。Email： yuandong@bupt.edu.cn
DONG Yuan, male, born in 1970, associate professor of Beijing University of Post-Telecommunications. He got his Ph.D on Telecommunication from Shanghai Jiao Tong University at 1999. He got his Master and Bachelor degree from Xidian University at 1996 and 1990. He worked as R&D scientist at Nokia Research Center China from 1999 to 2001, mainly develop Chinese speech recognition engine at Nokia Mobile phone. From 2001 to 2003 , he worked at Engineering Department of Cambridge University , UK as Post-doctoral Research Staff, mainly developed Euro-Project CORETEX, whose objective is to improve the core technology of speech recognition. From 2003 till now, he is the associate professor of BUPT. His research interest are : multimedia indexing in audio and video, highlight detection of multimedia content, speaker indexing , speech recognition and synthesis etc. He has published over 50 academic paper, and he is also the reviewer or reviewing expert of several important Journals , Conferences or Fundings , domestic orinternational.

李小文，男，教授，兼职博士生导师，中科院院士，****特聘教授。1985年在加里福尼亚大学圣巴巴拉分校获地理学硕士、博士以及电子与计算机工程硕士学位。专长于遥感基础理论研究，是李小文-Strahler几何光学学派的创始人，主持过多项攀登、863、重点基金、NASA基础研究项目，现在是973项目"地球表面时空多变要素的定量遥感理论及应用"的首席科学家。获国际"Rolex"雄才伟略奖、中国科学院自然科学一等奖、中国高校科学技术一等奖、****成就奖一等奖及首都劳动奖章等，发表研究论著160余篇部，其中38篇研究论文被 SCI引用557次。
LI Xiaowen, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, currently is a professor, PHD candidate supervisor, director of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System research center of Beijing Normal University, superintende of remote sensing department in Chinese Academy of Sciences of Beijing Normal University, Cheung Kong Scholars specially invited Professor. His research areas are mainly about the basic theoretical research of remote sensing. Dr. Li is the founder of Li Xiaowen-Strahler geometric optics school, and he is currently the chief scientist of 973 project "Quantitative remote sensing theory and application of the earth's surface changing elements of space-time ". Besides that, Dr. Li won the international "" Rolex "" Ambitious award, first prize of the Natural Sciences of Chinese Academy of Sciences. In additional, he published more than 160 articles and 38 of them were cited 557 times by SCI.
程明虎，男，1962年出生，一级研究员，兼职博士生导师，中国气象科学研究院理事会理事，中国水利学会常务理事。1985年获中国科学院大气物理研究所硕士学位，1995年在英国Bristol大学任Research Associate，并获该大学博士学位。1995—1996年在英国里丁大学任Research Fellowship。该导师是我国科技部批准的重大基础理论研究项目“我国重大灾害性气候和天气机理和预测理论”的倡议人之一，现为该项目的首席科学家助理。曾负责筹建了中国气象科学研究院五大研究中心之一的灾害性天气研究中心。现领导一个有研究员、博士和研究生等10余人组成的遥感和遥感资料应用研究组，负责承担了11个研究项目。已完成学术论文和科技报告80余篇，专著一部。研究方向：雷达卫星气象学和雷达卫星遥感
CHENG Minghu is a professor and PHD candidate supervisor. His research interests focus on radar satellite meteorology and radar satellitic remote sensing. Currently, He is a Fellow of Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences, a member of the council of Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences and the Water Conservancy Association, Chief Assistant Scientist in the major research project "Major disastrous climate, climate mechanism and weather prediction theory", the researcher in charge of the remote sensing and remote sensing material applications team. He has been in charge of 11 research projects and completed more than 80 papers and science and technology reports and one book.
