马小飞作为我国星载大型网状天线技术领域的主要创建者和团队领导人，长期奋斗在我国航天事业的科学技术基础研究和重大科技前沿装备研制的第一线，带领的空间大型可展开天线技术创新团队，承担了我国所有的空间大型可展开网状天线的产品研制、理论研究及新技术开发，在空间大型可展开天线技术领域开展了多项开创性工作，目前主持国家自然科学重点基金、型号任务和省部级预先研究项目多项，先后承担了10余项国防973科技、自然科学基金重大项目和国家级重点卫星型号，发表SCI和EI检索的文章50篇以上，出版译著1部，已授权发明专利33项。

Dr. Xiaofei Ma is the Scientific and technological innovation Leader and Young top-notch talent in the National "Ten Thousand Talent Program", and the "Young and middle-aged leading scientists, engineers and innovators" in the Ministry of science and technology. He is currently the deputy director of Institute of Space Antenna Technology in Xi’an Institute of Space Radio Technology, also a researcher, Ph.D. Supervisor, academic leader of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and adjunct professor of Xi'an Jiaotong University and Harbin Institute of Technology. He has been engaged in the research of large-scale space structure and mechanism technology for a long time. At present, he has presided over a number of National Natural Science Foundation of China and provincial and ministerial-level projects. More than 10 projects of National Security Basic Research program, National Natural Science Foundation and national key satellite are undertaken. A total of 7 provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological awards are obtained from Shaanxi province, Shanghai and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. More than 50 articles retrieved by SCI and EI have been published, one translation has been published and 33 patents for invention have been authorized. He has won honorary titles such as "National Upward Good Youth ", the May Fourth Medal of Shaanxi Province and the Ten Outstanding Youth in China's aerospace industry.
