Abstract:
 This talk will be divided in two parts. First, I'll explain some earlier results on whether/how the special fibre of a smooth proper p-adic scheme knows the Hodge number of its lift. In studying the question, one inevitably runs into analyzing the Hodge--de Rham spectral sequence, which somewhat motivates the second part. In the second part, I will explain my joint work with Shubhodip Mondal (to appear), which studies the space/scheme of endomorphisms of de Rham cohomology theory in p-adic settings. In particular, I shall explain a reproof of a refinement of Deligne--Illusie's decomposition statement (which is a recent result due to Drinfeld).
