丁 勇 中国科学技术大学生命科学院教授、博士生导师。1997年毕业于安徽农业大学获学士学位;2007年获中国科学院遗传与发育生物学研究所博士学位;2007-2010年分别在西南医学中心和内布拉斯加大学从事博士后研究工作;2011年1月-2012年8月在内布拉斯加大学任研究助理教授(Research Assistant Professor);2012年9月任职至今。
丁勇研究组长期从事植物组蛋白修饰分子调控机制的研究,以组蛋白修饰调控基因转录和植物生长发育进程为重点。自2012年回国建立实验室以来,系统解析了植物组蛋白H3第4位赖氨酸三甲基化(H3K4me3) 有别于哺乳动物的独特调控方式;发现了植物组蛋白特有的H2A第95位丝氨酸磷酸化(H2AS95ph) 修饰及其调控的全新机制;首次报道植物“干旱记忆”和“转录记忆”及其表观调控;揭示了长非编码RNA调控组蛋白27位赖氨酸三甲基化(H3K27me3) 的内在机制。上述研究延伸并拓展了组蛋白修饰的生物学内涵,揭示了植物组蛋白修饰位点和调控方式的独特性,提示了植物组蛋白修饰研究的重要性和必要性。相关研究成果发表在Science AdvancesThe Plant CellPNASNature CommunicationsPLoS GeneticsNew PhytologistPlant PhysiologyPlant Journal等学术期刊上,多篇文章被Faculty 1000推荐,以及被CellPlant Cell等杂志评述。
