方芳，中国科学技术大学生命科学与医学部研究员，博士生导师。2011年于新加坡国立大学与美国麻省理工大学联合培养项目获得计算与系统生物学博士学位，2011至2014年于美国斯坦福大学医学院从事博士后研究，2014至2019年于美国蒙大拿州立大学从事研究科学家工作，2019年12月加入中国科学技术大学生命科学与医学部。近年来以第一作者/通讯作者在Nature Cell Biology，Nature Communications和Cell Reports等期刊发表研究成果。
研究组主要研究兴趣及方向：
1. 转录调控与细胞命运决定；
2. 人类生殖细胞的发育及体外发生；
3. 干细胞疾病模型的建立。
