紫金山天文台创新团组“分子云与恒星形成研究”首席研究员。主要从事分子云结构和物理性质、恒星形成等研究。曾主持国家自然科学基金面上和重点项目。曾是ApJ, AJ, RAA等刊物的审稿人。
