薛挺,男,1979年10月出生,教授,博士生导师,学院“微生物与动植物互作”学科方向负责人,中国微生物学会候选理事,安徽省微生物学会理事,安徽省食用菌技术协会理事。
近年来主要从事金黄色葡萄球菌、大肠杆菌调控的分子机制研究,在细菌群体感应、二元信号系统、非编码小RNA的功能机制等热点领域开展了较为深入的研究工作。
近年来在Cell research, Infection and Immunity, Journal of Dairy science,Poultry Science等期刊发表SCI论文45篇,总影响因子>150,被引>800次,H因子为18,担任Frontiers in Microbiology, Future Microbiology, Animals等SCI期刊审稿人。主持国家自然科学基金3项,主持省部级科学基金7项,参与国家自然科学基金项目等多项。
【主要研究方向】
1.大肠杆菌调控机制及其与宿主的互作机制
利用微生物学及分子生物学手段,研究群体感应系统、双组份系统、第二信使系统及宏观转录因子等调控单元,在畜禽致病大肠杆菌致病性及耐药性相关基因的表达调控中行使功能的分子机制,构建相应的分子调控网络,进而研究上述调控单元在“细菌-宿主”互作中起到的调控作用,以期为畜禽致病大肠杆菌的防治提供新的药物靶标与治疗思路。
2.奶牛及乳品源金黄色葡萄球菌、链球菌及大肠杆菌生物被膜形成及调控的分子机制
金黄色葡萄球菌、大肠杆菌及链球菌形成生物被膜是奶牛罹患隐性乳房炎的罪魁祸首,利用微生物学及分子生物学手段,探寻上述细菌生物被膜的形成及调控机制,进而探求对生物被膜细菌的新的防治手段,对奶牛隐性乳房炎的防治有重要意义。
3.动植物源益生菌的改造及功能酶的研究
利用微生物学、分子生物学、生物化学等技术手段,对动植物源益生菌进行改造,并研究其对宿主的互作效应的改变,同时可利用酶学及发酵工程学等手段,对于某些重要动植物益生菌的功能酶展开研究与应用探索。
