主要从事资源利用与绿色化学合成、 节能减排和新能源开发等领域催化技术的基础理论及其应用的研究工作。 以国家发展需求为科研导向, 注重基础研究与工程探索的有机结合。 研究方法上注重化学、 物理及纳米技术等多学科交叉与创新。 在绿色催化过程、 替代汞的纳米金催化剂的制备、 结构与性能关联与化石和生物质碳资源优化利用相关的多相与均相催化关联的反应化学方面进行研究。 目标反应包括乙炔氢氯化, 选择加氢和氯化氢氧化反应等。
