科研成果及奖励
针对海洋环流中需要解决的关键科学问题，以南海这个“微型大洋”为实验场，通过卫星遥感与物理海洋有机结合的手段，在南海环流动力过程和海气相互作用等方面做了系统的研究工作：1）南海中尺度涡研究的发生，运动规律以及生成机制；2）南海台风的生成发展机理及其对海洋环流的影响；3）南海深层环流及伴随西边界流的结构特征及机理。现主持或已主持的主要科研项目有：国家杰出青年基金项目国家973课题2项国家自然科学基金3项国际科技合作项目1项
