个人简介
曹兆洋博士从2011年9月开始担任宁波诺丁汉大学工程系电气与电子工程专业的副教授。他曾经是新加坡南洋理工大学(NTU)计算机工程学院的助理教授。同时,他还曾是该校法医与安全实验室(简称ForSe实验室)的主管。在他的任期内,他领导实验室致力于生物统计学和法医分析方面的计算机技术应用的研究。他是从色差未提中找出多颜色形状的神经颜色反射率模型的共同发明人,他已经在国际顶级杂志上发表了数篇与此相关的论文。曹博士1999年获得了香港城市大学的博士学位。他的研究课题是开发用于3D形状重构的有效神经网络学习算法。他已经出版了一本专著,5个书刊章节和50多篇技术论文,其中有20多篇论文都是发表在顶级国际杂志(例如IEEE反式神经网络、IEEE反式知识与数据工程、神经计算和模式识别等)上的。曹博士作为主要研究人员获得了来自于新加坡教育部、信息通信研究院和新加坡南洋理工大学的多项研究补助。在2003年,他还作为合作研究者与其他研究者共同获得了竞争非常激烈的香港科研补助金委员会提供的研究项目补助金(40,000美元)。
他在计算智能、模式识别和计算机视觉方面都有广泛研究。从最近的出版物来看,他在计算智能、图像分析和计算机视觉方面都做出了积极的贡献。他的长期研究计划是建立一个研究纲领,利用计算技术解决不同领域(医疗保健、教育、国土安全,甚至是社会科学)的现实问题。
