王冬，男，教授，先后主持国家基金、国家科技攻关项目子课题等科研项目6项；主持完成西南联大纪念馆、中国磨憨口岸联检楼（国门）等建筑设计20余项；以第一或通讯作者发表论文100余篇；获云南省自然科学三等奖（排名第1）；获云南省技术创新人才称号。兼任昆明理工大学学术委员会委员、建筑与城市规划学院教授委员会主任委员，《西部人居环境》、《云南建筑》杂志编委。
