  宿兵,中国科学院知识创新工程比较基因组学学科带头人; 中科院“百人计划”引进人才,理学博士,研究员,博士生导师;中科院昆明动物研究所细胞与分子进化重点实验室主任;美国辛辛那提大学助理教授;复旦大学生命科学院客座教授;从事灵长类比较基因组学及现代人类起源和迁徙的研究。已在《Science》、《Nature Reviews Genetics》、《PNAS》、《American Journal of Human Genetics》、《Human Molecular Genetics》和《Molecular Biology and Evolution》等国际核心刊物上发表论文40余篇。曾获中国科学院自然科学奖一等奖(1996);云南省自然科学一等奖(2002) 和教育部科技进步一等奖(2003)。

  研究方向:

  人类的起源是生命进化的奇迹,也是长期以来生命科学领域受到广泛关注的重大课题之一。人类区别于非人灵长类最为显著的特征是人类发达的大脑。大脑容量急剧增加和认知能力的巨大飞跃是人类起源的关键所在。然而,导致人类这一根本性变化的遗传学机制尚不清楚。

  我们采用DNA芯片、DNA序列分析、基因组文库构建和转基因动物等方法,比较人类和非人灵长类大脑认知功能区(如前额叶区)基因表达的差异;探讨在灵长类大脑发育中起关键作用基因和基因家族的分子演化模式和规律。

  另一方面,我们还开展对人类起源和史前迁徙的分子考古学研究。采用古DNA分析的方法对人类化石和遗骸进行研究,探索东亚现代人起源的方式,重建其史前迁徙的路线,了解人类群体遗传结构的历史变迁及其与人群文化、语言分化以及人类遗传疾病的关系。

  2.  人类和非人灵长类大脑快速进化基因的研究。

  3.  东亚现代人起源和史前迁徙的研究。

  4.灵长类基因组文库的构建与灵长类基因组的演化研究。

  5.人类中枢神经系统疾病的遗传学基础研究。

  团队成员:

  目前,实验室共有研究人员14人,其中博士生6人,硕士生6人,技术员1人。
