1976年10月生于新疆阿克苏,汉族，中共党员，博士，副研究员。
研究方向：
干旱区植物（植被）-水分关系；植物抗旱策略与死亡机制；植物地理学。
学历教育：
　　中国科学院研究生院生态学博士（2005-2008）、自然地理学硕士（2001-2004）、新疆农业大学林学学士（1996-2000）。
工作经历：
　　2004-至今：中国科学院新疆生态与地理研究所；2015-2016：澳大利亚墨尔本大学森林生态系统与林学院，访问****。
