Bio/Description

Profile

Andréa de Castro Melloni is a nurse by training (Unicamp, 1995). After working in Human Resources at the private sector, in 2010 she joined the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Rutgers University in New Brunswick as a lecturer (2010-2014). With a specialization in Methodology of Portuguese Teaching (Gama Filho, 2013), she has taught basic and intermediate Portuguese courses at Princeton since 2013. She is currently doing research on Portuguese language teaching for migrants and refugees in Brazil.
