Overview
Dr. Hugh Love, Jr., is a licensed psychologist within the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Medical Psychology (in Psychiatry) at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. His areas of interests include mental health and wellness concerns of men and boys of color, navigating gender and sexuality in treatment particularly with LGBTQ+ individuals, and emerging adulthood and young adult launching. In addition to therapeutic interventions, Dr. Love has considerable training and experience in evaluation and assessment and specializes in psychological, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological testing for psychiatric and school-related issues. ?Academic Appointments
