Philip Zachariah is an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at Columbia University Medical Center and an attending physician at NewYork Presbyterian Hospital. He directs the antibiotic stewardship program at the children's hospital and serves as one of the hospital epidemiologists. His research has received support from the American Academy of Pediatrics, Thrasher Foundation, Columbia Irving Institute and the National Institutes of Health. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Pediatrics, Pediatric Infectious Diseases Journal and Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology. He presents regularly at national meetings including the IDWeek and Pediatric Academies Societies Meetings.
