Karimah Smith, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Smith provides routine and prenatal care. Her clinical interest is in adolescent gynecology and the transition of women from adolescence to adulthood. Dr. Smith treats women of all ages and provides compassionate and personalized care to each patient. Dr. Smith graduated from Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and served her residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rutgers University. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecology, the American Medical Association, and the International Health Care Volunteers. Dr. Smith joins New York-Presbyterian Medical Group Westchester from a private OB/GYN group practice in Florida. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Smith is happy to return to the state where she was born and raised. She is currently living in southern Westchester.
