Charles Flateman is Executive Vice President at the Shubert Organization, with oversight of the company’s sales, marketing, partnership, distribution, communications, and events teams. Mr. Flateman is also CEO of Audience Rewards, The Official Loyalty Program of Broadway and the Arts; and is a board member at Entertainment Benefits Group, one of the fastest growing travel, consumer goods, and entertainment e-commerce platforms in the United States.?
Mr. Flateman is Chairman of the Board of NYC and Company, the official destination management and marketing organization of New York City. In that capacity he also Chairs the Coalition for NYC Tourism and Hospitality Industries Recovery.?
Mr. Flateman serves on the Board of Governors of The Broadway League and co-chairs its Professional Development Committee. He is also an Executive Board Member of the US Travel Association.
Before coming to Shubert, Mr. Flateman was co-founder of Broadway Inbound, which provides the marketing and technical bridge between Broadway's primary ticketing entities and global online wholesale distribution partners. Earlier in his career, he was President of Gray Line New York for fifteen years, and was a producer of Broadway’s Elaine Stritch at Liberty, Harlem Song at the Apollo and other theatrical productions. Mr. Flateman is a graduate of Brown University with a degree in Classics.
