Chris Boneau received a BS in Speech and Theatre from Louisiana State University. In 1982, Chris accepted an internship in the Public Relations and Marketing Department at Actors Theatre of Louisville (Kentucky). This resulted in a staff position at Actors Theatre, where Chris remained for three years. With his colleague Adrian Bryan-Brown, Chris formed public relations firm Boneau/Bryan-Brown in 1991. Together they have represented over 400 plays and musicals, which have won 231 Tony Awards and 11 Pulitzer Prizes. Among Chris Boneau’s current and upcoming projects are?Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,?My Name Is Lucy Barton,?In Residence?on Broadway, and?Mean Girls. Mr. Boneau also heads Boneau/Bryan-Brown’s Media Training and Executive Coaching division. In addition, he represents Audible’s theatrical projects, Atlantic Theater Company, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Manhattan Theatre Club, and Signature Theatre Company. For over 20 years, Chris has been an adjunct professor at Columbia University’s Oscar Hammerstein II Center for Theatre Studies. He also serves on the Steering Committee for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and the board of the Atlantic Theater Company. For eight years, Chris represented?The Book of Mormon. For 16 years, Boneau/Bryan-Brown served as Walt Disney Theatrical Productions’ publicist and public relations strategist launching Disney on Broadway.
