Katherine Wilkinson (She/They) is a Brooklyn-based director.?Katherine creates physically adventurous work through a queer lens. She is often working on the very old and the very new and is fascinated by the pressing questions of now-ness in both. Katherine has developed work with The New Ohio (Ice Factory), La Jolla Playhouse (WOW Fest), New Georges, Bedlam, BRIC, WP, Classical Theatre of Harlem, Juilliard, Signature Theatre, Columbia Stages, The Magic Theatre, SITI Company, Zen Zen Zo, ZAZ10TS Gallery, The Tank, GenEnCo, Fusebox Festival, Corkscrew Festival, The Watermill Center, The VORTEX, Miami New Drama, The Oklahoma Contemporary, among others.?She is currently a 20-22 WP Lab Member,?a recent winner of the Opera America Tobin Director-Designer Prize,?and a 2022 Orchard Project Greenhouse Lab member. Katherine has Associate/Assistant Directed for Anne Bogart, Sam Gold, Whitney White, JoAnne Akalaitis, and Andy Blankenbuehler.
