Michael Naumann was hired as the Managing Director of Theatre Development Fund (TDF) in May 2011. Before joining TDF, Michael was the Finance Director for Frankel Green Theatrical Management/Richard Frankel Productions. RFP produced and FGTM general managed plays, musicals and touring productions. Some of the productions that Michael worked on include A Little Night Music, Rock of Ages, Hairspray, The Producers, Young Frankenstein, Gypsy and Stomp. Prior to RFP, Michael was the Director of Finance & Administration for Manhattan Theatre Club for 20 years. He has been Adjunct Associate Professor for the Theatre Arts Program of the School of the Arts at Columbia University since 2001. Additionally, he taught workshops for the Alliance of Resident Theatres/New York (ART/NY) from 1995 – 2019 and was on the selection committee for the New York Community Trust-New York Magazine Nonprofit Excellence Awards in 2012 and 2103. He served on the board for The Development Center in Darien, CT from 2015 until 2021. He is currently the treasurer for the First Presbyterian Church of Stamford, CT and for the Highland Green Foundation.
