Laboratory Technician | Pischedda Lab

Olivia Anastasio was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She traveled to Worcester, MA to earn her Bachelor's in Environmental Conservation & Biology from Clark University in 2019. She then completed her Master's in 2020 with Kate Mathis at Clark University studying the spatial distribution of Argentine ants. During her Master's, Olivia worked as a Biostatistics TA and as a mentor with the Summer Bridge to Research (SBTR) program at the University of California, Riverside. Her research interests include insect ecology, agroecology, evolution, and animal behavior.?

Meet the Lab Techs in Biology!

Despite the drastic changes to how research in Altschul has been conducted since last June, our laboratory technicians have been hard at work throughout the pandemic to help sustain productivity in our faculty labs alongside their PIs.
