Alan Hubbard is a professor in the School of Public Health, UC Berkeley.? His research foci are:
Data Adaptive Target Parameters:?A new general parameter with estimation methods and associated central limit theorems that allows for parameters to be "discovered" from data. ?
Prediction and Variable Importance in Trauma:?The use of semiparametric prediction and causal inference methods for dynamic (time-dependent) predictions of outcomes, such as death, after serious trauma. ?
