Research Description
James L. Powell received his B.A. in Economics and Statistics from UC Berkeley and his M.S. in Statistics, A.M. in Economics, and Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University. His recent research topics include endogeneity in semiparametric binary response models, instrumental variables estimation of nonparametric models, and endogeneity in nonparametric and semiparametric regression models.
