主要研究成果：
多年来，围绕离子束与材料相互作用物理学研究领域开展了大量的实验和理论研究，尤其是近年来，在国家和省部级基金的资助下，围绕气体离子注入半导体材料表面损伤、结构缺陷、物理机制以及离子注入光电材料纳米颗粒合成、尺寸控制、物性调控和功能材料离子束改性等开展了大量的基础研究，获得了丰硕的研究成果，已在国内外核心期刊上发表学术论文120余篇，其中SCI收录论文70余篇。

荣誉和奖励：曾以主要完成人获甘肃省科技进步二等奖；多次被评为天津大学本科生论文优秀指导教师；中国科技论文在线优秀评审专家。

讲授主要课程： 《大学物理》、《物理学知识与高新技术讲座》、《离子注入原理及核技术分析》、《大学物理实验》等。

已完成项目：在天津大学工作期间，已负责完成国家自然科学基金、天津市自然科学基金和教育部留学回国人员基金项目各一项；在中科院近物所以及国外工作期间，参与或负责完成国家级、省部级以及国际合作研究项目十几项。

指导研究生情况：在天津大学工作期间，在材料物理与化学专业指导博士研究生7名，已毕业2名；指导凝聚态物理和材料物理和化学专业硕士研究生17名，已毕业10名，目前在读博士生5名，硕士生7名。主要研究方向为功能材料离子束改性、离子注入诱导纳米颗粒合成、尺寸控制及物性调控研究
