天津工业大学纺织学院纺织系教授。
郭兴峰教授主要从事机织技术的教学和科研工作，为本科生开设织造原理、现代织造技术等课程，为硕士和博士研究生开设三维机织物、机织新工艺新技术、纺织复合材料课程，重点研究机织技术，特别是3D机织物和特殊结构织物的设计、织造及其性能和应用，已在国内外专业期刊发表论文约60篇，出版专著6部，获得发明专利5项。

He works in the teaching and researching of weaving technology, gives courses of "The principle of weaving" and "Modern weaving technology" to bachelor degree students, "Three dimensional woven fabric", "New weaving process and technology" and "Textile composites" to postgraduate students. his main research area is in the weaving technology, especially in the design, manufacture of 3D woven fabrics and special structure fabrics, as well as their properties and applications. He has published more than 60 journal papers, 6 books and gotten 5 invent patents.
