1. Soil mechanics related to climatic changes:
?Multi-scale experimental studies of cracks in geo-materials;
?Properties of special soils. Concentrating on swelling and shrinkage deformation of special soil under complex boundary conditions, influence of minerals, microstructure, evolutions of cracks, tensile strength etc.
2. Assessment and prevention of geological disasters:
?Focusing on materials properties, deformation process and stability of slopes, establishing stability evaluation methods and forecasting models.

研究方向:岩土体力学、特殊土工程地质、地质灾害、生态修复与保护
兴趣领域
? 极端气候下岩土体力学行为研究
侧重极端干湿气候下土体-水相互作用过程、地质体工程性质响应、地质体形变过程(地面沉降、地裂缝等)、加强数字图像处理技术在地质/岩土工程研究中的应用与定量分析;
? 特殊土工程性质
侧重复杂边界条件下黄土、软粘土的胀缩变形、裂隙的产生及生长规律、黏土矿物-水作用机制、微观结构、抗拉强度等相关体变及力学性质;
? 地质灾害防灾减灾
岩土体边坡稳定性分析、灾变机理、评价方法、防灾减灾措施。
?生态修复与保护
从景观和局地的尺度,识别和诊断景观格局、生态要素景观、生态系统服务、生态廊道等宏观生态问题,制定保护修复目标。
