个人简介
1971年出生于陕西西安。1992年获得上海交通大学电机工程系学士学位,2000年获得西安电子科技大学通信与信息系统学科硕士学位,2003年获得西安电子科技大学信息与通信工程学科博士学位。
1992~2005年主要在中国电子科技集团第二十研究所工作,研究方向为新型无线通信系统和关键技术。2005年之后,在西安电子科技大学综合业务网国家重点实验室工作,从事无线通信的教学和科研工作。2008年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划。2009年晋升教授;次年被遴选为博士生指导教师。
目前主要从事移动信息网络架构等领域的研究工作。先后主持/参与国家自然科学基金、863计划、国家重点研发计划、国家科技重大专项等纵向科研课题,欧盟FP7计划等国际合作交流项目,华为基金等横向科研项目。在国内外学术期刊、国际学术会议上发表论文200余篇,授权国家发明专利30余项,转让国家发明专利7项。

主要研究方向
移动信息网络的新概念、新理论与新技术:面向2020-2035年移动通信应用需求,依托信息、通信、数据技术(ICDT,Information, Communication, and Data Technology)的深度融合,研究第五代/第六代移动通信(5G/6G)网络架构、高效组网理论与技术。
开源无线协作的基础理论、网络架构与关键技术:首先,打破以专用硬件为中心的封闭式移动通信网络架构;依托通用硬件,构建以开源软件为中心的移动信息网络。然后,基于开放式网络架构,构建开源软件定义的无线网络;通过网络深度解耦与灵活重构实现无线能力开放。
天空地一体化网络:地基移动通信网络与空基网络、天基网络有效融合的组网与传输理论。
无线信息传输理论与方法:基于新能源供应的无线网络架构、信息与能量联合传输技术。
纳米网络:融合生物分子物理学、信息与通信技术,探索分子通信理论。

个人简介
1971年出生于陕西西安。1992年获得上海交通大学电机工程系学士学位,2000年获得西安电子科技大学通信与信息系统学科硕士学位,2003年获得西安电子科技大学信息与通信工程学科博士学位。
1992~2005年主要在中国电子科技集团第二十研究所工作,研究方向为新型无线通信系统和关键技术。2005年之后,在西安电子科技大学综合业务网国家重点实验室工作,从事无线通信的教学和科研工作。2008年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划。2009年晋升教授;次年被遴选为博士生指导教师。

Prof. Liqiangobtained his BSc in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University, China in 1992, his MSc in Communications and Information Systems and PhD in Information and Communications Engineering from Xidian University, China in 2000 and 2003, respectively. In 2008,he was awarded by the Programfor New Century Excellent Talents in University, Ministry of Education, China.
From 1992 to 2005, Prof. Liqiang was aResearch Engineer with the 20thResearch Institute, Chinese Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC), China. His research focused on mobile communication systems and spread spectrum communications.
From 2005 to 2007, Prof. Liqiang was an Associate Professor with State Key Laboratory of Integrated Service Networks (ISN), Xidian University, China. His research focused on WiMAX, WLAN, and wireless sensor network. Prof. Liqiang was appointed as a Marie Curie Research Fellow at the Centre for Wireless Network Design (CWiND), University of Bedfordshire in June 2007 to conduct research in the GAWIND project funded under EU FP6 HRM programme. His activities focused on the area of automatic wireless broadband access network planning and optimization. Since June 2008, Prof. Liqiang returned Xidian University.
His current research focuses on broadbandwireless communications and space communications, etc. He has more than 100 published in authorized academic periodicals both in and abroad and in international science conferences, wherein 30 of which are retrievaled in SCI, and more than 70 of them are EI indexed, and 6 national invention patents.
Prof. Liqiang has hosted / participatedmanynational research projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation, the 863 Program and the National Science & Technology Major Projects, andseveral internationalresearch projects including the EU FP6, FP7 plans for international cooperation & exchange projects, and some research projects from companies, e.g.,Huawei.
