Dr.Zhang’sresearchinterestsspanseveralareasofmedicalimageprocessingandanalysis.HisprimaryresearchinterestsareapplyingfMRIandneuroimagingtothefieldsofobesity(BariatricSurgery),addiction(Heroin),andacupuncture(Mechanism).Becausealmostallofhisprojectsinvolveanalyzinginformationprocessinginthebrain,Dr.Zhanghasalsoworkedondevelopingadvancedsignalprocessingmethodsfortheanalysisofdynamic,multivariateneurobiologicaldata.
