1．基本信息
李冉，男，河南南阳人，博士，副教授，2016年获畜牧学博士学位后留校任教迄今。博士研究生期间（2012-2015年）受国家公派留学基金资助赴加拿大农业部Sherbrooke研究中心联合培养。
现为国际专业学术期刊Frontiers in Genetics和Frontiers in Veterinary Science编委，BMC Genomics、G3-Genes Genomics Genetics、PloS One和Gene等期刊审稿人。

3．研究方向
主要从事牛羊基因组学和群体遗传学研究。结合比较基因组学和群体遗传学研究方法，利用最新的Pacbio和Nanopore等三代测序技术，解析牛羊基因组及关键遗传变异，并结合转录组和调控组等多组学数据研究牛羊优良性状的遗传机制。
4．开设课程
承担本科生《生物统计与试验设计》和《生物信息学》等课程的教学工作。
5．学术研究与成果
承担国家自然科学基金青年基金、中国博士后科学基金一等资助、陕西省自然科学基金、陕西省博士后科研项目资助、广西农科院人才小高地项目、西北农林科技大学博士科研启动费和高校科研业务费等科研项目。
以第一作者（并列第一作者）在Nature Communications、Science China-Life Sciences、Genetics Selection Evolution 和BMC Genomics等本领域专业期刊发表SCI论文10余篇。
