We are recruiting postdocs, graduates (PhD and Master), and visiting students. Our group is pursuing new synthetic methodologies to introduce main group elements (e.g. boron, sulfur, tellurium, phosphorus) into polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) with the aim to develop efficient energy conversion optoelectronics with the aid of density functional theory (DFT) calculation. It will start from the incorporation of boron atom into PAHs for OLEDs through thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF), and challenge organic molecules which could be used as molecular switches or have singlet fission properties for solar cell.
The candidates with any experience in organic synthesis, main group chemistry and luminescent materials are welcome to join us. The postdoc candidates currently in China are preferred. The research can be highly independent. The lab will provide sufficient funds, facilities, and other essential resources to support your research.
