课题组长期从事公共建筑设计及其理论、教育建筑的实践研究、负能耗建筑设计、既有建筑改造更新研究、智慧化建筑设计及全过程管理、基于无人系统的智慧化建筑体系及构造技术设计研究、致力于国家建设方向以及城市设计的需求，并从中提炼设计问题，鼓励具有独立思考、开拓创新型人才，脚踏实地，科学与技术、艺术相结合的学生报考，提供优良的科研条件及出国访学机会，欢迎建筑学、建筑工程管理、土木工程专业的学生加入: zhangrui1973@nwpu.edu.cn

科学研究 Scientific Research
现任西北工业大学RUI建筑设计工作室主持建筑师。长期以来以建筑设计方法研究及建筑设计过程研究作为研究的重点之一，从业以来主持设计及完成大中型项目及规划60余项，年均总面积200万平方米。2002年以来连续获得校优秀毕业设计扶持项目基金级奖励，所指导毕业生连年获得省优秀毕业设计奖。作为建筑章节主笔人参编陕西省建设厅陕南陕北移民自建住房规范编写等重大项目。近年来发表学术论文10余篇，被EI收录及引用1篇（次）。
2012年获全国建筑勘察协会“最美”女设计师称号。
2014年获得陕西省自然科学基金资助，项目编号2014JM7292，项目名称基于城镇化的智慧化建筑设计机理及过程研究——以集贤镇示范项目为例。
2015年作为访问****赴加州伯克利大学访学一年，并达成相关国际合作意向。
2016年出版专著《建筑设计实践的智慧化》一书。
