杨恒权,男,1976年出生于湖北省郧西县,教授,博士生导师,化学化工学院副院长,国家****基金获得者。长期从事催化化学研究,致力于发展绿色高效催化新体系,解决精细化学品绿色合成、二氧化碳高效利用中的关键科学与技术问题。曾入选教育部新世纪优秀人才、青年三晋****、山西省高等学校中青年拔尖人才、山西省高等学校优秀青年学术带头人、山西省学术技术带头人、山西省131领军人才、山西大学英才计划、山西省优秀研究生指导教师、三晋英才等。目前担任《催化学报》、《Green Energy & Environment》等6个国内外期刊编委,担任山西省化学会常务理事、中国洗涤用品工业协会专家委员会委员等。2015年获辽宁省自然科学一等奖。
