Research Interests

Dr Feng’s research work hasfocused on understanding the molecular mechanisms that regulate the repair ofDNA breaks induced by ionizing radiation; and understanding how disruption ofDNA repair pathway sensitizes the tumor cells to radiation and chemotherapeuticdrugs. Some research results were published in PNAS, Nucleic Acid Research, DNArepair, J Biological Chemistry, Toxicology Research, etc; and cooperation workwas published in Nature, J. Cell Biology, Cancer Research, etc.

Dr Feng’s research interestsinclude DNA damage and repair, the mechanism of breast cancer induced bycarcinogens, radiotherapy and chemotherapy to tumor cells, the effect of lowdose radiation on radiation workers, as well as the relationship betweenoccupational hazards and genetic stability.
