李国君1958年生;教授、博士生导师,山东省首批“泰山学者”特聘教授。曾任中国图论学会秘书长、常务理事,中国运筹学会组合与图论分会副主任。2004年曾受聘为中国科学院软件研究所兼职研究员,2006年被聘为美国佐治亚大学 (University of Georgia)资深科学家。自2000年以来,在图论和算法理论方面彻底证明和解决了若干个有挑战性的猜想和难题,其中包括著名的Chvàtal猜想[13]和识别字符串的可近似性[2]等问题。在国际组合数学界最权威的杂志Journal of Combi-natorial Theory, Combinatorica, Journal of Graph Theory和国际计算机科学界最权威的杂志 SIAM Journal on Computing, Journal of Algorithms, Algorithmica, ACM Transactions On Algorithms上均以主要作者发表过学术论文。在生物信息学研究方面,关于蛋白结构预测、功能基因组分类、调控模体预测以及基因表达数据分析等研究领域均已取得突破性成果,以第一作者在影响因子为8.026的生物信息学专业核心杂志 Nucleic Acids Research上发表学术论文5篇。
