　　杨官品，教授，1963年6月8日出生，1985从湖北大学获学士学位，1988从华中农业大学获硕士学位，1992从华中农业大学获博士学位。1987–1988在华中农业大学工作，1988-1992华中农业大学作物遗传改良国家重点实验室在职博士，1992-1993华中农业大学作物遗传改良重点实验室讲师，1993-1995 Virginia Tech博士后（洛克菲勒基金资助），1995-1996华中农业大学作物遗传改良国家重点实验室副教授，1996-2000湖北大学教授，2000-现在，中国海洋大学教授，博士生导师。主要进行海带遗传改良、海洋微藻生物学等研究，在Journal of Phycology, Journal of Applied Phycology, BMC Genomics等期刊发表相关论文多篇。
